Future Leaders For Peace

Changing Lives By Building Peace

Welcome to Future Leaders For Peace

At Future Leaders For Peace, we work with young people to develop leadership and interpersonal skills.  Our programs and presentations address the subjects of honesty, good communication and listening skills, objective and empathetic decision making, and goal setting.

Conflict affects everyone.  Young people face  conflicts which cause internal struggles, sometimes causing them to turn to drugs, alcohol, and suicide.  In other cases they turn to violence.  We help  by teaching young people to manage conflict, improve relationships, and reduce stress every day.  Working with young leaders, we create waves of empathy that have a ripple effect on their entire community.

We work directly with youth in a variety of environments, primarily in schools.  We work with them through assemblies, workshops, and student clubs.  Students start by identifying concepts, discussing them, then applying them in the real world.  These concepts are largely related to handling stress, examining relationships, and positive communication.

Our programs strengthen communication skills and build a sense of empathy in the classroom.  We focus our discussions around personal experiences because  students rarely find a chance to share their experiences with their classmates and positive role models.

Young people are the leaders of the future. We equip them with techniques to build peace in their daily lives and relationships.  Through them we change the world.

I noticed sparks in some of the parents. As for the kids, they couldn’t stop talking about it.”
